The Time Alone With You – Bad English

Years ago…When we’re all still sooo…(young?)

Kebagian belajar jadi MD, nyusun playlist sendiri, eehhh…nemu lagu enak, tapi yang judulnya When I See You Smile, masih dari Bad English. Dan ternyata, ada single lainnya yang lumayan nge-hits, ya ini dia, The Time Alone With You.

Meskipun masih kalah ngetop dibanding When I See You Smile yang legend itu (written by Diane Warren), entah kenapa, saya lebih suka yang ini.
Oke, sebenernya masih bergombal-gombal ria sih, ini lagu…but it’s ok, as long as I love it, the h*ll with it! *ups

The Time Alone With you – Bad English

(written by John Waite & Diane Warren)

When everything is cloudy
And the sun won’t shine for me
And it seems
like nothing’s goin’ right
There’s a place I want to be
Just laying there beside you
In the shelter of your room
I leave the world
outside your door
Lose myself in you
When you’re in my arms
I find all that I need
I could never live without
The heaven that you showed me
I’ve been waiting all my life
Just to look into your eyes
I live for the time alone with you
And when I climb
the stairs to find you
And we reach for the light
I thank God I’ve got
this time alone with you
Your kiss can captivate me
And your touch can set me free
I count the hours baby
Till you are next to me
And it’s taken such a long time
To find someone that understands
When I reach out for love now
I reach out for your hand
When I feel your heart beat
It makes me come alive
I don’t wanna live without
Something that is so right
I’ve been waiting all my life
Just to look into your eyes
I live for the time alone with you
Cause everytime I see your face
All my troubles fade away
I live for the time alone with you
And when I climb the stairs to find you
And we reach for the light
I thank God I’ve got this time alone with you
I’ve been waiting all my life
Just to look into your eyes
I live for the time alone with you
Cause everytime I see your face
All my troubles fade away
I live for the time alone with you
And when I climb the stairs to find you
And we reach for the light
I thank God I’ve got this time alone with you
Oh, this time alone with you
Sedikit tentang Bad English, suara serak vokalis John Waite memang 90’s banget. Suka, deh. Memperkuat kesan romantis. Band ini mulai naik daun sejak album pertama mereka yang memuat 3 hits, When I See You Smile/ Price Of Love/ Possession. Dan The Time Alone With You sendiri adalah track ke-4 di album Backlash rilisan 1991, se-album dengan Straight To Your Heart.

Mr. John Waite himself is a very talented man, he wrote a lot of hits, mostly in the late of 80s seperti Missing You, dan In Dreams di tahun 90an. So, ketemu sama Diane Warren yang sama-sama pencetak hits, ya klop aja. Mainstream? No Problem:) As long I can take it^^
Gara-gara dengerin lagu ini juga, malah keidean nulis fanfic :D
Fanfic? Iya, kebetulan, saya suka banget komik Topeng Kaca-nya Suzue Miuchi. Pas lagi galau-galaunya karena komiknya belum tamat-tamat, eh, malah nulis sendiri terusan ceritanya versi saya sendiri hehe…
Duh, maafkan yaaa…lagi kecentilan modelnya gini nih…suka lupa umur ;p
